Students would come up to me and they would ask, ‘How can I know the will of God for my life?’ And I knew what they meant. They meant, what major to take, what jobs to pursue, who to marry… But I said, ‘I know exactly what the will of God is for your life.’ They said ‘Really? Tell me!’ I said, ‘Holiness. Sexual purity. Pursue it with all of your might. He’ll take care of the details.’
